Santa Monica, California 2014   |   Canon AE-1, Fujifilm 200

On the road to San Francisco, we stopped over Santa Monica for a quick, hearty lunch. Taking the Scenic Route means skipping from town to town and absorbing the beauty that comes with it, albeit being the farther alternative.

Santa Monica Pier was filled with folks leisurely strolling and sea gulls flocking the shore. The weather was relatively warm at the time, despite Winter's forthcoming. (I wasn't able to test the waters, but I've been told it's freezing cold.)

I can't believe I've only been here last November (I'm currently nostalgic... and sick but I won't let it suck the holiday spirit out of me). These last few months of 2014 have been dedicated to exploring foreign places and revisiting familiar ones. Looking back, I have made a myriad of wonderful moments during my travels despite the strings of drama and frustrations that came along with it. Moreover, I've exhausted a bunch of films on it! This is just the first of many, so anticipate for more!

In a few hours, I'll be flying out to Hong Kong with my family to spend Christmas there (3 more days folks). Soon after, we'll be heading to San Francisco for the New Year's. I still haven't seen enough of the city, so I'm pretty thrilled to be going back - especially to see my brother again!
